Last Sunday I visited a new church plant in a town called Sultan Hamud. This small trading center is only two hours away from Nairobi on the road to the coastal town of Mombasa. As such, many trucks pass through here. As for natural resources it does have limestone and, in spite of continued drought in the region, gave evidence of beans that were growing and surviving…

The purpose of my going with Robert to the area of Mwingi was to stay at the Tei Wa Yesu Health Centre, a ministry of the AEPC churches, while he went on to do evangelism in Usuweni . Because of the many needs in this drought and famine-ridden area, I felt it wise to focus my assistance…
