The Carrs presently in Ventnor City NJ

Saturday, 10 October 2009

“And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and he will pursue them. But I will gain glory for myself through Pharaoh and all his army, and the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord” (Exodus 14:4).

One of those she took in was a girl of about 12 years whose mother had been killed in the skirmishes in January. Her father sat her down and told her to wait for him but he never returned…

Trip to Isiolo and Maua

Tuesday, 10 June 2008

George and Robert and our son Steve travelled to these two towns- five to six hours away. In Isiolo we were able to visit with our former teammates- the Rainsfords. They just moved to this little ‘upcountry’ town to work with M-lim people there. Before reaching this town we were treated to the sights of highland country with sprawling wheat fields that reminded us of somewhere in the U.S.
